Understand trends, not only totals
Reporting is intended to show how reviews change over time, compare locations, and identify recurring themes in customer comments. Metrics should be based only on data the business has authorized the platform to collect.
Examples of possible metrics
- New reviews received within a selected period.
- Average star rating and how it changes over time.
- Reviews awaiting a reply or follow-up.
- Recurring comment topics after an appropriate analysis is configured.
- Location comparisons where data and permissions allow.
Reports people can use
Reports should show their time range, data source, and any update gaps or delays. Illustrative numbers or samples must never be presented as results from a real business.
What is required
Production analytics requires a reliable backend data store, defined retention periods, access controls, and update monitoring. This package does not connect to live data sources or display real metrics.
